The Reds find themselves six points clear at the top of the table and seven ahead of City.   The title race is fascinatingly poised heading into January, with Liverpool knowing victory on January 3 would strengthen their grip on top spot. According to City's official website, tickets remain on 'restricted sale'.So if you are a City fan who has attended a first-team match at the Etihad Stadium before the start of this season, you are eligible for up to four tickets. Television scheduling of the packed festive period also means the match will be on a Thursday night, sandwiched between a round of games and the third round of the FA Cup.City vs Liverpool comes on the third consecutive night of league action, which begins with three fixtures on Tuesday, January 1.And less than 24 hours after the final whistle in Manchester, the FA Cup resumes with Tottenham's trip to Tranmere on Friday evening.
